Obedience training for your Rottweiler can be quite a challenge, especially for people with little or no experience with dog training. Still, the process of training can go a long way in forging and strengthening that crucial bond between the Rottweiler and his owner that can sometimes suffer when you send your dog to obedience school.

Thankfully there is a huge selection of books and videos that are dedicated to the many facets of dog obedience training and some of them are even geared specifically to Rottweiler owners.

As with anything, your experience may differ from my own based on your personality as well as those of your Rottweiler. While no training book or video is going to work or be ideal for everyone, the selections mentioned here are good places for you to start learning more about obedience training with your Rottweiler.
