Aside from the fact that they make outstanding guard dogs, Rottweilers are also excellent pets with qualities such as loyalty and affectionate being some of their most popular attributes. Their personalities can range from quiet and shy to active and downright rambunctious; they can clown around just as well as they can stare you down.
Wouldn’t it be great if you could make your very own Rottweiler wallpaper for your desktop? You could choose to let your Rottweiler share space on your destop with the whole family or alternatively, let him be the sole shining star!
Naturally, the possibilities here are endless. All you need to make your very own Rottweiler wallpaper is a camera and, for better effect; software such as The Gimp or Photoshop.
Getting Your Rottweiler To Pose: Goofy Or Serious?
But how do you decide on a pose? One way is to wait until your best friend starts goofing around or just starts being his playful self. Think in terms of his personality and some of the silly things he might do – things that could prove to be excellent candid moments.
If, however, you’d like a more formal pose, then a bit of training could be in order.
The good news is, Rottweilers are highly intelligent and can be trained very easily between the first six weeks and six months of their lives.
The most commonly taught first command is the ‘Sit!’ command. This can be achieved by repeating the command in a firm voice while pressing down on the dog’s rear. Repeating this a few times will establish an association between the command and the action.
The next thing you would want to do, so that you may actually have a chance of taking a picture, is to teach your dog the ‘Stay!’ command. Do this by getting him in the sit position first and then holding your open palm a few inches from his face while slowly walking backwards. The dog will most likely follow you initially but will soon catch on. Keep in mind that praise is a very important part of the exercise; praise your dog lavishly every time he follows your command correctly.
Ready, Get Set…Shoot
And finally, when the training is all done, you are ready to take your first picture for your Rottweiler wallpaper. Take a couple of them to get a bit of variety. After you’ve done that, simply load them onto the computer and add some text or special effects with your image editing software.
That’s it!! You’ve now got your very own, one-of-a-kind Rottweiler wallpaper.
